‍‍Expectations

  1. Treat everyone with respect
  2. Exhibit behaviors that all me to teach and others to learn
  3. Arrive on time
  4. Be prepared to work
  5. Be a positive class member
  6. Always do your best
  7. Keep your workspace clean and orderly


‍‍Equipment

  • Treat all equipment with ultimate care—do not vandalize or make changes on equipment (including but not limited to: removing keycaps, removing mice, marking on desks or equipment, hitting the keyboard repeatedly)
  • Your teacher must approve all outside disks and flash-drives before use
  • Clean your workstation before leaving, including picking up trash, putting away materials, returning books, etc
  • Push chairs under desks before leaving
  • Do not modify desktop settings (including screensavers and backgrounds)
  • Please leave computers on unless instructed otherwise
  • Place all food and drink containers in trash before entering lab
  • No games may be played on the computers, unless instructed to do so by a teacher
    • Students are not allowed to participate in any Inernet chat rooms or unauthorized groups


‍‍Appropriate Use

You will be responsible at all times for the proper use of your account. The school district may suspend or revoke your access if you violate these rules.


‍‍Inappropriate Uses

  • Using the system for any illegal purpose
  • Using a proxy site to access blocked websites
  • Accessing another’s account
  • Accessing social media, streaming videos, or music without permission
  • Posting personal messages and information about yourself or others
  • Posting messages or accessing materials that are abusive, obscene, sexually oriented, threatening, harassing, damaging to another’s reputation, or illegal
  • Wasting school resources through the improper use of the computer system
  • Gaining unauthorized access to restricted information or resources
  • Using any electronic device in class without permission
